Oh the delights of parenthood and how busy they keep our adult simmies, I believe we left off last time with both our kiddos onto the next life stage
and just a short pause to appreciate how DANG CUTE Briar is
AHHHHH adfjdbiabvdfsjabvfjba alright alright I'm composing myself I promise
as we have come to expect, Ayoze was the doting father to his kiddos
and he spent lots of time instructing little Byrd on all his toddler skills that he needs in the simiverse
including the potty where Byrd reconsidered all of his life decisions LOL. I have to say that I do love the new infant life stage and yet it does make it annoyingly longer for my simmies to be self-sufficient grrrrrrrrrr
And Oh My GOD the state of the house with two kiddos is really making me feel like we need to bring in some extra help...
luckily Bama had that neato celeb perk where she gets all sorts of potions delivered to the house
and both her and Ayoze were taking fuuuuull advantage to keep their needs from tanking
And since time goes fast in this game and even faster when you have such adorable (and time consuming) bebes to care for, pretty soon Ayoze's birthday had rolled around
of course we had to throw him a birthday bash with all the extended family included, and guess what all of Ayoze's previous abandoned babies were now kid-sized !
The kiddos immediately found the playroom and spent some quality time getting to know their half-sibling

the girls were wearing some pretty ridonk outfits imho but I couldn't be bothered to change em lol
Actually the kids got so into playtime that Ayoze ended up blowing out his candles kindof alone (oops lol)
Ah yes he still looks all hot and spiffy and essentially exactly the same except with the addition of a few wrinkles and fine lines
Yes, yes, you're very distinguished
The rest of the night was consumed with bonding with his daughters and...Hey ! Don't look at me like that, I try to get him to go visit them but he's ahem very busy with his current tots ok
Yeah so maybe I lied a little before and we do actually have deadbeat dads in this household...my bad
but listen !! its not my fault ok, Bama is ridiculously busy climbing the acting ladder
and uh yea...she hasn't exactly been doing the best at her gigs lately and is getting actual threatening text messages from her agency to 'do better or else' LMAO
I mean I'm pretty sure there's no options for murder in this game but not like 100% sure sooooooooo...
she was also acting pretty regularly with the big names in the biz at this point like Judith Ward whoop whoop !
Alas she always seemed to embarrass herself. I mean, our gal has never been the best at rizzin the celebs up, which BTW I do not understand at all because her charisma AND acting skills are like basically maxed out but oh well -_-
yea I guess she was still a little off kilter from the embarrassing interaction because not only did she BOMB this gig she also stuck a literal sword through her foot LOL
anyways the point is, while Alabama was stinkin up the stage at work, Ayoze was stuck at home with the littles, who were also uhhhhh stinking up the place hehe
and to make his job harder they keep ESCAPING
I mean seriously can someone explain to me how infants who can't walk are ending up down the road every time I come home UGH
at least our two cuties seem to like each other, with Byrd toddler sized he was able to entertain Briar a fair bit whenever the parents were napping. I think their conversations went a little bit like goo goo ga ga glarba glarbie goo
and although I am obsessed with how cute my simmies are as tots, I was very relieved when it was time for Byrd AND Briar's birthday and transition into childhood and tot respectively
Of course, we had a party with all the family invited, and by all I really just mean Byrd's half-sibs and their mom haha
I mean, yanno, Marcus isn't invited...moooostly because no one knows about him except Bama but we don't gotta talk about allllllllll dat
first up was Mr. Byrd
*cue swirlies and sparklies*
also apparently Bama not giving a fck on her phone
aaaaaaaaand have your first look at him ! I still think he's a lil cutie
and he rolled the goofball trait which I think perfectly suits him
ah geez welcome to glitch town ladies and gents
a nice reset later, we were able to get Briar to blow out her candles
and she got the Inquisitive trait
no swirly pic apparently but she is an ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE tot !!!
Probably one of my fav kids of all time honestly
moving right along, Byrd was settling right into childhood and probably set a record for fastest visit from the tooth fairy

Alright I hate to admit it but these limited details in the game do get me a little, I just like hanging all my sims knick knacks on the wall ok ! Sue me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Although not fast enough to stop Byrd from having a total needs failure since he was too scared to go to sleep LOL
When Byrd wasn't busy passing out on the lawn, he was quite busy with friends from school, although none of them ever lasted that long, including this cute red-headed gal. Tbh, I don't even remember her name
His only repeat visitor was actually his half-sister, Isabelle, who he got along with swimmingly
But his favorite sim of all was his little sister, Briar
They really had the same sense of humor and loved nothing more than makin silly faces and cracking toilet jokes
both also shared a love for playing with the mushroom (?) play set thing
I was very happy (and surprised) that Briar was getting along with her brother so well because uhhhhh
...well she's kindof a little brat :l
and lets just say that Bama is not a fan of her behavior LOL. I do have to add, this isn't entirely out of nowhere, Briar was a bit of a difficult infant and developed most of the fussy infant traits as well
Aw for a little bint, she really is such a dang cutie pie though !
I mean come on she basically turns potty training into a whole photoshoot
and for all her tantrums, her parents were still right obsessed with her and spent the appropriate amount of time staring at her (in proper sims custom of course)
speaking of our parent simmies, with one child that was self-sufficient they had a lot more time back to themselves, which alsoooo meant they had a lot more time to uhhhhh...
...reconnect with each other ;)
oh and showers of course ! We were finally close to a non-stinker household again hehe
and when they weren't busy with each other, they spent lots of time working on their skills
Bama was also back to killing it at work again, which was pretty great timing because she'd lost her celeb level and was also preeeety close to a demotion
not to be outdone, Ayoze had also gotten a promotion or two along the way
ANNOYINGLY he also got this lady as a work enemy and she completely blocked his next promotion grrrrrrrrr
we spent quite a bit of time trying to sabotage her before I gave up and just invited her over so they could become friends
and continuing on the subject of work, with some nice cash coming into the household, the place got a nice little remodel
Briar and Byrd got their own bedrooms now that they were older
aaaand we got some neato toys for the backyard
along with a water collector and some solar panels because lemme tell ya the bills are getting brutal 0_o
It's not so much the lot taxes even tho those do seem to be higher than I remember from last time I played. But ermmmm I have child support turned on and Ayoze is paying out of his butt currently for his three daughters
now everyone before I show you what's next I want you to be appropriately excited !

meet Asparagus Alphabet, our brand new doggie
EEEEEEEEEE I just luvs her so muchhhh <3 <3 <3
she is a very active pupper (actually to be more specific I think her traits are active, loyal and uh friendly or smth? I can't remember oops) and she immediately set off to explore her new home and more importantly, backyard
Asparagus settled in quickly to her new life with the Alphabet fam, which was excellent because we weren't exactly done with new additions
that's right folks, while the family was getting ready for bed, Bama popped out a baby bump !!
And although the pregnancy wasn't exactly planned and we literally just got out of baby hell, Bama seemed pretty excited about the impending arrival
besides who wouldn't want another addition with kids as cute as Briar, who was thoroughly enjoying her new ball pit
sometimes enjoying it too much hehe
Now with the new baby news and a few days of relative peace, Ayoze and Alabama set out to do something they'd wanted to do for a while, and the whole extended family was invited out to the beach in Tartosa
aaaaaaaand immediately fell into glitchville GAHHHHH, I couldn't for the life of me get Briar across this bridge
I know I know I was warned about Tartosa although tbf I didn't realize even the world itself was cursed
Alabama in particular got completely stuck going in loop-de-loops on this bridge for hours
It would've been funny if it wasn't so dang irritating !
Okkkk fine, it was still a little funny but not the point -_-
And after a lot of cheating and workarounds on my part, we finally got the family over to the beach. Minus the extended family cuz they'd gotten frustrated and peace'ed out hours ago lol
but even after all the glitches and crazyness, the wedding turned out absolutely perfect. Under the moonlight and in front of their kids, Alabama and Ayoze pledged their love and promised to spend the rest of their lives together
say it with me now, D'awwwwww
A little bit less sweet was Bama hopping on her phone to update her fans literally seconds after the ceremony ended lmaoo
The next morning it was time for Briar to age up. After the wedding glitch debacle, we kept it lowkey
For some reason Briar trecked out to the front yard for sparkly time
whoooooo sparkly swirlies woohoo !!
and here she is all child sized, she is still so CUTE. Honestly, she's gonna be an icon when she's a teen I just know it.
Also, she got the good trait which I think fits her very well
Briar settled right into childhood, acquainting herself with all of the toys she could now play with as a kiddo
She also got to know everyone's fav doggie, Asparagus, who was delighted to have another friend
and now that Briar was older, her and Byrd could really deepen their friendship. They spent hours down at the local park playing around on the space jungle gym
The monkey bars was a close second fav
They just loved joking around with each other in general and even ended up with a jokesters dynamic
Ah yes, Ayoze making an absolutely crazy face while doing the potty dance, I wonder what that could mean
If you guessed the arrival of baby #3 you are absolutely correct and we quickly followed our simmies down to the local hospital
Bama was once again wildly concerned by the workings of the birth machine (and she wasn't the only one)
and lots of chimes later, she popped out a bouncing baby girl:

back at home, Briar and Asparagus were checkin out the new arrivals
and our two parents were right back in the nitty gritty of caring for little helpless sims, this time two for the price of one, which honestly ? nightmare.
I feel like the infant stage makes the caring for kiddos much more of a burden but I also loooooveee how cute they are and can't bring myself to shorten it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Time never stops in this game and neither do the events as the next morning it was Winterfest !
Our two kiddos spent the day outside with their pops building the treehouse that I'd bought for them in the remodel. And by the time dinner was ready, it was coming along nicely !
Awww our first holiday dinner with kiddos ! I'd say that the whole fam had a wonderful Winterfest together
Even Asparagus joined in when Briar threw him some of her food hehe
And as the day was coming to a close, the whole fam gathered round to open winterfest gifts.
Well Alabama was fackin off on her phone, famous sims what can ya do about em huh ?
Briar was erm lookin a little crazy about her gift.....yikes 0_0
and to make it almost a perfect holiday, Father Winter showed up and gave Briar an extra present ! :D
it wasn't all good though, later that night a bed monster scared the bejeesus out of Briar. And even though Alabama was there with the spray, Briar was already a little worked up
Yea she was so scared she passed out on the floor. Basically as soon as she aged up, Briar developed an intense fear of the dark so this was a rough one for her LOL
Moving on from Briar, since the baby stage is ridiculously short, it was time for the twins to float their way into infanthood
First up was Bryn, who gained the intense trait
Here she is all madeover, such a little cutie
and next up is Blythe, who gained the cautious trait
and here she is ! They are absolutely adorable infants and I'm preeeetty sure that they are exactly identical so that should be fun to tell them apart loll
Bama and Ayoze hopped right back into their parenting routine with the infants

the household was so busy that I barely missed getting to celebrate Alabama's bday, she literally aged up into an adult right next to her own bday cake
ah she barely looks any different, still a foxy momma imho
now when the twins were born I thought it would be nice to have a gals room and Byrd's room; howeverrrrrr, two crying infants is absolutely terrible for Briar's sleep schedule...
...so we moved her to Byrd's room for the meantime
The color palette doesn't exactly match but we're just tryin to save up a lil more before doing a huge renovation into a much bigger house so be patient my dear readers
Speaking of our difficult infants, they are often bringing our parents to tears
*snickers* I mean oh no Bama, you're a great mom
I think this a perfect picture of their respective personalities as well, Blythe was an absolute dream. She slept and ate and cooed cutely.
On the other hand, Bryn was an absolute terror who NEVER stopped crying UGH
They did end up spending a fair amount of time stinkin up the floor on playmats, since the rest of the house was pretty busy, oopsies
In other parts of the household, Briar had met a new friend at school, a boy named Jaxton Harris
They became fast friends with Jaxton coming over to the house often
One of their favorite activities was the lego table but honestly they just liked joking around and being silly together
Even though she got along great with Jaxton, no other sim could top Briar's friendship with her brother, at this point their relationship was maxed out and they were the best of buds
They went on adventures together all round the neighborhoods
and with the help of Ayoze they even finished up the treehouse so they could have crazy imaginary adventures in their own backyard
Space explorers was one of their absolute favs

oh lord, aside from all the cuteness in this house it was also turning into an unholy site of glitch horrors
Yeah I think I've made my point well enough
That afternoon, the extended family had once again arrived for a birthday shindig, I'll let you guess whose party it is this time !
Jaxton was also there as he spent quite a bit of time at the Alphabet house these days
And ladies and gents if you guessed Byrd's birthday you would be correct ! Our first teen of the legacy eeeeeeee I'm so pumped to see how these genes are turning out

I've been obsessed with Briar lately but holy smokes I might have a new favorite for this gen
