Chapter 4: Shame, Shame, We Know Your Name....

Hello all and welcome back to the Star Family Parentacy. We re-enter just in time to see Zoe take the gazillenth photo of herself.

Y'see ever since her age up, I'd say Zoe has had a bit of an ego issue. The issue being that the girl is freakin obsessed with herself. I swear every time I turn around she's taking pictures of herself or admiring herself in the mirror. I really can't explain it, it's not like she has the snob trait.

Radically less-self obsessed? Her sister Noelle who immediately got to work skilling after her birthday.

Ever since her age up, she'd become much more of an avid reader, and before I knew it the Star household had run out of new reading material.

Really, the only logical conclusion was a visit to the library. While she was there, Noelle had an idea, seemingly out of nowhere, and jumped straight onto a computer, completing her first short story.

Zoe also made the trip to the library, just for a radically different reason.

She's a social little butterfly ain't she

She even met this nice specimen outside of the library.

Although he is a little...odd

It's safe to say that Zoe wasn't impressed

Elsewhere, Alivia was also busy working on her skilling...although perhaps hers was a bit more difficult in nature

Bahaha, she's a bit dramatic isn't she?

Of course, Zoe also accompanied her sister to the gym. After all, how was she going to charm the pants off of people without lookin good?

But as soon as a good looking man walked by, Zoe was off the treadmill in a flash, ready to socialize. Hopefully, she'd have better luck here than at the library.

I will admit, she had quite a bit of charisma skill which seemed to make most interactions go smoothly.

On another note, Butterfinger had the stubborn trait and as such was freaking IMPOSSIBLE to train. Cue the picture of just ONE of the multiple pieces of furniture I've been forced to replace. -_-

Although for all the trouble, Butterfinger always holds a special place in my heart :). And apparently in Joslyn's too because she made sure to give her plenty of snuggles from beyond the grave.

She also made a habit of accompanying Noelle through her long writing sessions on the brand new computer that she got for her birthday :)

And I will say, its a good thing that Noelle's books are bringing in some money to the household because every since Joslyn died we've had no income and the household funds have basically bottomed out

Now I'm sure the urgent question on your mind has been: Whatever happened to the Koolaid Kids?? Well, fear not, here they are on their first outing together as teens with a newly minted name as well: The Terrible Teens.

The crew mostly enjoyed whiling about the hours in a rooftop hot tub

Although the club had gained a few new members...

Aww, I think that Alivia has a little bit of a crush.

She liked him enough to listen to his truly awful singing skills. Ah, infatuation how sweet it must be.

And Zoe? Well, she'd set her sights on someone else...

Someone that happened to be quite a bit older than her

Yea, I wouldn't exactly say that she cared.

But while the other girls in the family were out on the town, Noelle spent some quality time with Butterfinger.

And a certain someone else.

Everyone remember Shingo?

Awwwwww look at those goofy lil' grinsssssss. The next life stage had done nothing to damper their best friendship.

Ah another day, another dryer fire.

At least this time, Joslyn actually put out the fire. Probably had to do with the fact that she can't burn to death again.

Dryer fires: 2, Casualties: 1

Watch out, Butterfinger!

Elsewhere, our terrible teens were once again enjoying their afternoon hot-tubbin along

And as much as Zoe loved hanging out with her friends, she'd invited someone of a more...mature variation

Zayn was handsome and charming, and she couldn't help herself

Before she knew it she had fallen hard and fallen fast

That's why when he suggested something...something that she hadn't even thought about, well she readily agreed

But alas, it wasn't only dear Zoe who was in love

Noelle was so shy, she knew that she'd never do anything about it, after all how could she be sure that he felt the same way? She didn't want to do anything to ruin their friendship, no matter how much it broke her heart.

But really in my opinion, if a boy's looking at you like that then I'd say he's interested

Later that night, Zoe approached Zayn's house nervously. She didn't know what to expect, but she knew that she was in love.
She entered the house.

 I'd say it turned out all right

That is until afterwards, they realized someone else had snuck into the room...

Yea I guess that's what tends to happen when you cheat on your husband while he's at home init Zayn?

But it didn't end there. Zoe was never one to take an insult lying down and she made sure to let Zayn know exactly how she felt about his philandering ways

She ended it in no uncertain tems

When she got home, she was stunned to see her mom sitting outside her room, as if she'd been waiting for her. Zoe broke down, confessing everything. 

Joslyn had always been a good mom. She'd never judge Zoe for anything even if she knew that she'd messed up, so she gathered her into a hug. And she told her that everything would be alright, it was only a short fling and in twenty years she'd never remember it.
Zoe tried to listen to her mother's advice she really did...but somewhere deep in her stomach something felt...different.

A few days later it was once again sparkle time whooooo yey!
Noelle gained the Cat Lover trait

Alivia gained the Hates Children trait.

Aw look at our two beauties all grown up. And yet someone was missing from the birthday extravaganza...

Looks like Gen 3 is starting a little earlier than I bargained for.

Oh dear, that can't be healthy for the baby....

Zoe had been nervous about telling her mom the news, after all her mom had had them so young and she knew how hard it was.

Unsurprisingly, Joslyn wasn't thrilled. But she knew her daughter would need her so she let her know she'd always be there for her.

Zoe wasn't the only one going through life changes. Aging up had put a lot of things into perspective for Noelle. She had spent her entire teen years waiting for Shingo to make a move and finally realized that it was never going to happen.

Live I've always said, if you want something done...

then do it yourself.

It was a pretty sensational kiss

And I'd say she was pretty excited when Shingo asked her to be his girlfriend.

And maybe even more when he agreed to move in. I guess when you know, you know. 

And bless Shingo's little neat-freak heart. He immediately started cleaning the house after moving in. 

Noelle made sure to "repay" him with lots of her best romance poetry 

And as there's no rest in a household of five sims,  Zoe went into labor

A few pushes and a shower of sparkles later and the the first child of generation 3 is born.
