Heyo!! welcome back to the Doll Legacy and the inevitable ensuing chaos (don't say I didn't warn ya). This is a bit of a long one, I didn't even realize how long until I started adding pictures lol
We ended last time with little baby Noah being born. The baby stage is prettty boring so I don't tend to focus on it and we can move right along!
Ah yes, well it wouldn't be a proper Simsgiving without some creepy gnomes stalking you and nudity. We were kinda busy at the moment with the new baby, so no celebration, just the bad moodlet ughhhh
And before I knew it, it was already time for Noah to age up
Here he is with his patent grumpy face. Apparently it runs in the genes -_-
Aaaand, the house got a bit of an upgrade so Noah has his own room
Although I kindof ran out of funds so Mai still has to practice her routines in an unfurnished room. Sorry babe!

Ah, just a false alarm. It's Noah, the cutie.
In the coming days, Noah spent his time skilling just like all my young simmies
His parents were very supportive...in the sense that they stood there and stared at him often
Mai was already off of maternity leave and back to work on the next tv show, which happened to be a Victorian time-piece
As you can see here, our gal has finally started landing the gigs with the huge multi-piece sets
She actually nailed this whole gig, which surprised me. She hadn't exactly had a lot of time to focus on the pre-show objectives with the baby at home
And with the money, we put windows on the walls, and some floors/paint on most of the house. Slowly getting it into fighting shape.
If you could NOT ruin the floors Noah, that'd be great thanks, they were pretty frickin costly
D'aw. Mai's actually a pretty good mom when she tries
she spends a lot of time playing with him at least
Gah! He is such a messy toddler, I spend half my time cancelling out these actions.
Not to mention, he literally cannot be away from his parents for more than like three seconds. Ah clingy toddlers, they are so difficult
And who is this? Finally, Mai has encountered Lara, her sister-in-law, at work even though they've literally been in the same career the entire time
Mai of course went over to say hi to her
And they chatted for a bit about the family before the show went on
Mai get off your phone at work!! Ugh, the phone fanatic quirk is a pain in the plumbob
Queen of the dip kiss (about half of the time lol)
Dane sure thinks she is at least
Over the next few days, Mai worked on leveling up her fitness skill for her next role
While Dane tried to keep up with cleaning the house and looking after Noah. He's turning out to be a real handful for two full-time working parents
But Dane managed to spend some time teaching his son some crucial life-skills
and Mai was out...eating and jogging. Not sure that's the best combination lol
The next day, Dane took Mai to Sulani to the beach to watch the sunset. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, Dane took a knee in front of her,
and popped the question that he'd had for a long time.
Of course, Mai said yes. Although, she never felt like they needed a ring for their commitment to each other.
Awwww, so sweet
Two happy sims engaged, what more could you want from a game
Another second, another holiday rolls around in the Simsverse, this time the holiday in question being Winterfest.
But Dane and Noah were pretty happy about theirs
Noah asked Father Winterfest super nicely for an extra present but he didn't get one :(
The next day at her gig, Mai spun into a pregnancy belly with her outfit on set. Eeeeee, baby number 2 on the way.
Hahahahah, she did NOT do well at this job
She did give it her all, unfortunately the pregnancy annoyingly drained all her needs
Back at home, it's the dynamic duo of grumpy and stinky
Pretty soon it was time for Noah to grow up and we threw a party for lots of family and friends
Not entirely sure why she showed up in a robot costume
Mai took the opportunity to get down with her brother, just like the good ol' days
And then with most of his extended family watching, Noah blew out his candles. Are you ready to see him all aged up and childlike?
AH!!! He's SO CUTE. I'm kind-of obsessed with him.
He rolled the nerd trait so I gave him an appropriately 'nerdy' set-up for his bedroom.
And Noah immediately put his new child-sized body to use. He collected some rocks
and worked on his skills at his chemistry table
Whiiiiiich, didn't always yield the best results
He also tried out his new laptop, playing some of the latest and greatest video games
His parents made sure to continue their strange tradition of watching him
Oh god, oh god! Shield your eyes Noah!
Poor kid. Shouldn't be exploring the house like that so much then
Mai managed to book one more show whilst pregnant
She like immediately wet herself and then pulled this face though, so I didn't really have high hopes for her performance.
Yeah, getting told off by your co-star in the middle of acting is pretty embarrassing. Stupid divas!
As soon as she got home, Mai went into labor and a crib appeared out of nowhere
And after some huffing and puffing, we welcomed another baby into the fam. Welcome to the world, Saxon Doll :)
Mai connected with her new son right away
And then promptly passed out. Just new mom things?
No worries though, Dane was right there to take over feeding
Later that night, Dane aged up in front of the crib because I (kinda sorta forgot that his birthday was happening oops)
Nevertheless, Mai took her fiancée out on the town to retroactively celebrate
But as Mai is now a 3-star celebrity, she is constantly harassed by the press wherever she goes
The juice definitely did its job as she got up and busted quite the move for her adoring fans
Lmaooo, girl. My sims do amuse me
Her fans were positively *entranced*
Another day, another sim ageing up in the Doll household
And here little Saxon is all toddler-like. With the patent Doll grumpy face and all, ugh this is my curse now
I also expanded the house a bit, and gave Saxon's new room a makeover
More than anything in his new room though, Saxon likes to hang out with his big brother
They watch tv together
And most of the time, you can find Saxon playing alongside Noah experimenting all afternoon
Oh no.
Oh no no no no. We've gotta invest in some blinds before Noah gets permanent trauma
