Hey lovelies, welcome to the start of a new legacy. I finally have a computer that will run Sims 4 (and Sims 3 which I've gotten to go back to for a bit as well!). So without any further ado...let's get into it
This lovely lady is our founder extraordinaire, Mai Doll. She's famously grumpy but has aspirations of making it big onstage to support the lifestyle she's always dreamt of.
Traits: Squeamish, Outgoing, Snob, Happy Toddler, Responsible, Good Manners
Mai only got a measly 10,000 Simoleans from her parents estate after moving out, but she used it to move to Del Sol Valley and build a small house with few amenities.
First up on her list, she called up the local job office, and got an audition for a local agency, 'Everyday Extras Talent Agency'
I'm sure you're thinking by now, what kind of legacy is this? Well, its basically just me messing around with my sims for ten generations, following the storylines as they present themselves in my gameplay. No rules or point counting, just me and my sims havin a good time. If that sounds good to you, then read on, I'd love to have you with me :)
Lol, aaaand, she gave herself a bad moodlet from her flatulance since she has the Good Manners trait. Silly Sims.
I know, I know, the house could look better. Once we get some real income, there'll be a renovation ok?
Mai spent the rest of the next day skilling up for her audition by jogging around the neighborhood. She looked totally thrilled about it too.
That night, she got to go out with 'The Gals' for a drink at a club in San Myshuno. In case you're confused here, Mai is the product of another family I was playing so she has family and friends in the world.
From left to right we have, Madison, Mai, Cheyanne, Jacquelyn, and Lara (who is married to Mai's brother, Mikal). The girls have spent many a night shimmying away together as teens and they intend to keep that tradition through adulthood.
The girls spent a couple hours throwing back juice-shots and partying, but eventually Mai had to make her way home.
The next morning, our gal came home buck-naked from her interview, but for once she was smiling because she booked it! I never lost faith, he he.
She immediately headed to the gym to sharpen up her skills for the performance.
And she ended up spotting her brother Jackson during her session, running over to say hi. Ever since they'd grown up and moved out, Mai missed her siblings immensely.
Aw, they always had been close as kids.
Then who would show up but Mikal in nothing other than his birthday suit? Lol, this family is so weird.

Ah jeez, first day at work and Mai has the llama flu. But the show must go on!
She complained her way through the entire ordeal, including giving the makeup artist a mouthful after he messed up her look. Already preparing for her life as a full-blown diva, I see.
Yeah, I'm not sure she was entirely pleased with the final look, but hey you gotta work your way up babe
Bahahahah, guess she didn't have to worry about the makeup after all
She did a super cute little dance up on stage, working that costume as best she could
That stinky face is probably because the show producers are informing her she only made a couple hundred simoleans for all that work :( Ugh, this is gonna take a while to make some money.
That night, one of Mai's childhood besties, Dane Odom came over to hang out.
The conversation didn't get off to the best start, mostly because *cough* Mai is a rude mfer *cough*
But Dane is such a sweetheart that he just listened to her rant and rave and eventually they struck up a nice chat.
Then they just watched the stars for a while until Mai's bedtime came around.
Ah jeez, I don't know why my sims have such a propensity for lighting themselves on fire.

She put herself out eventually, which was good considering she also had a big job booked for that day
Shower #2 of the morning here...
Ah, another day, another ridiculously unflattering costume for Mai to wear. *snickers* I'm just enjoying her discomfort right now a teensy amount.
I think maybe like a teensy less bit of agression, sweetheart?

I started off thinking I knew exactly what this acting job was gonna be but boy was I wrong
0_0 Er, moving on.
As Mai is booking more jobs, she spends some more time eveyrday interacting with her online fans, namely taking an absurd amount of selfies to post on simstagram.
And after the demands of being a public figure everyday, she also found herself in need of some stress relief
That night she asked Dane over and asked for something she'd been interested in for a while
and their friendship changed into something a littttle bit different
Mai felt so sure after they connected that she took things a step further, asking Dane to be her boyfriend, and he accepted of course :)
As the days passed, Mai leveled up through the acting career, spending many an hour in front of the mirror developing her skills. She's also received enough recognition that she has 1-star in fame.
Pretty soon Love Day rolled around and ms. grumpy Mai got taken out to a fancy restaurant to celebrate by her dashing boyfriend
but someone just would not crack a smile for almost the whole evening.
before their food arrived, the lovebirds snuck away to the kitchen for a little...1on1 time. Guys! Totally not sanitary.
Mai was all smiles after that, seeming to actually enjoy the rest of dinner.
Simstagram eats first huh?
That next day, Mai took the plunge and invited Dane to live with her. In Sims terms they'd actually been dating for a while and we need another source of income not to mention the 1000 simoleans he brought with him. His traits are Insider, Romantic, perfectionist, (lover, jester).
Our lovebirds quickly settled into coexistant bliss with Dane immediately jumping into skilling up for his comedic debut.
Also, the inhouse perks of a boyfriend were pretty good too as these two couldn't keep their hands off of each other
The days passed quickly and mundanely for a while as the two spent their time skilling and leveling up in their respective careers.
Mai jumped into a number of different roles, from outdoorsy to sitcom to rom-com.
She was the rising star of the sim movie world, and she was reveling in finally raking in some good money and fame points for every job
now that look is commitment acting right there
Lol, although she did have some pretty embarrassing screw-ups on this sitcom show in particular. Poor dear.
One morning in particular, Mai wasn't feeling well and rushed to the toilet..
And that's right folks! We are expecting the first bebe of the Doll legacy, hold on to your hats all
The first thing Mai did was hop onto simstagram to deliver the news to her loyal fans. At this point she was a level-2 celebrity so I'm sure some sims did care.
Dane was of course ecstatic about the news once Mai got around to telling him
Ah yes, all the baby books recommend starting fires while pregnant, nice one Mai
At least we have some firefighters to put out fires for pregnant ladies now, EA. Sheesh, so much to ask for from this game
Just gonna leave this here...
I actually made Mai spend the rest of her pregnancy resting away from the stove and NOT starting fires since all that stress can't be good for the little one
She did book a gig while in her third trimester although I can't say she was super happy about it
Don't pull anything!

Not even the last trimester could stop these two from being all over each other. Ah, young love.
And soon enough, it was time for the pregnancy to come to an end and the first heir of our legacy to be born!
Ah yes, take a bite of dumpling, scream in labor pain, repeat. Every woman's experience with birth, makes sense
Um.
Dane looked on expectantly as Mai pushed one last time...
