hellooooooo and welcome back to another adorable chapter of the Alphabets
last time we left off with Casper aging up into a child and he is such a CUTIEEEE
he really is the perfect little loner nerd who just loves using his nifty new telescope we bought for him
and he always does all his homework without me even having to prompt him
what a blessing 😮💨
since Cas is her absolute fav, Bryn stepped in to help sometimes...although I'm not sure a high-school dropout was dropping too much knowledge LOL
but other than hanging with Cas, Bryn was having a super rough time of late
luckily they had a daily maid that she could spend all her time tormenting
yeah we might have to give this poor guy a raise *snickers*
oh but it didn't stop there, no Bryn would also make the rounds through the bars to torment the patrons there
lets just say she wasn't winning any ghost of the month awards haha
she did make the occasional friend since at least some patrons found her antics funnier than others
oh and Briar is pregnant !! fastest pregnancy I've ever had in game, seriously one and done LOL. I wasn't planning on any more kids for her but hey I guess the sims tell you what they want
Briar immediately invited Jax out to a bar to tell him the good news ! she was a little nervous, seeing as her first time telling the father that she was pregnant had gone horrifically bad
buuuut there was nothing to be worried about as we all knew Jaxton would be absolutely thrilled
oh yeaaaa, he was very excited hahaha
and since they had a new baby on the way I figured it was about time to get Jax moved into the household as well, which he was happy to agree to
d'awwww look at those cute happy faces
it was about time that Briar had a happy relationship with a man who would dote on her every whim
and Jax was just the man for the job ;D
I think Cas was also properly thrilled to have a dad figure in the household
oh and uh before I forget, here's a little intro for Jax:
traits are horse lover, squeamish, child of the islands and aspiration is friend of the animals
AHHH another damn horse lover *facepalm*...we'll do our best buddy but having a ranch really wasn't in the cards for this gen
and since pregnancy passes in the blink of a sim's eye, Briar went into labor that next evening
and one huge shower of sparkles laterrrrrrrrr
here is another adorable baby boy named Clarke
also I've discovered that C names are very difficult to choose haha, they all sound a little like old people names
anyways with half the household caring for a newborn and the weather warming up, I sent the twins off to the beach to stir up some trouble
LOL clearly Bryn was already having a day. It's five o' clock somewhere I guess
luckily she couldn't die again so I wasn't too worried about her boozing up and swimming
after their rendezvous at the bar, Blythe had also invited Connan out to enjoy the beach day with her
hilariously, Bryn also decided to come back onto dry land and 3rd-wheel their date the whole time
but they all had a great time building sand castles together...Connan in particular LOL
as the sun started to set, Bryn had run off and the mood started to get flirtier between Blythe and Connan
Blythe had liked Connan since...well since high school and now it seemed like he might like her too
so she made her move
oh yea now there's a simmie in lust for ya
Connan also enthusiastically agreed to be her boyfriend
Bryn had run off to the bathroom but came back just in time to see her brother embrace her new boyfriend from a hill nearby
Bryn wanted to be happy for her but as she watched, she just got angrier and angrier. Everyone was moving on with their lives, everyone could move on with their lives because they weren't stuck in the afterlife forever as the same age
everything started to build within her until she could barely contain it anymore and the ghostly rage started to take over her whole being...
back at home, it was already time for Clarke to age up into an infant with Jaxton dutifully er...not watching? lol
anywayyys here he is made-over a bit and
clarke is ANOTHER blonde GAHHHHHHHH, i swear to goddddd I literally cannot get another hair color, what are the odds here omg
he also got the wiggly trait
with a little more time on their hands, both his parents fully doted on their littlest
Briar was especially concerned with her son meeting all of his milestones
of course she left Jax to deal with more of the stinky parts like constant diaper changes ewwww
even Blythe stepped in to care for her nephew while his parents were at work
speaking of Blythe, the next evening it was the romance festival and she'd invited Connan out for a romantic date
they drank some juice, recited some romantic poetry
Blythe even visited the romance guru for a reading
well it must've been a good reading or maybe too much juice because completely unprompted by me she got down and proposed to her bf of only a couple days (it also totally could've been her new lovebug trait LOL, they just can't help themselves)

d'aww they really are a sweet couple tho, here's hoping it'll last !
either way, I figured I wasn't gonna stand in the way of true love so Connan and Blythe eloped at the romance festival in a spur of the moment ceremony
let's hear it for the lovebirds rahhhhhhh
maybe it should've been a family event but it felt pretty perfect for the two of them to have it just be private
I've said it once and I'll say it again, what's a wedding without an epic fireworks show huh
afterwards, the newlyweds headed over to the club next door for their first dance together
oh and since Connan is a part of the household now, here's a little intro to him:
his traits are jealous, clumsy, and romantic and his aspiration is soulmate
they spent the next couple days settling into married life in the household as couples do hehe ;D
and I think Blythe may have been wearing him out LMAO
we also got Connan to call up the local art gallery which offered him a job as a painter
he was not very good...like at all LOL but at least Blythe and him got to spend all day together working on their crafts
the next day, there was a cute little snow festival happening in Mt. Komorebi so the whole fam went down to hang out
where they mostly spent time taking pics with Yamachan LOL
ig the simmies are huuuuge Yamachan fans who knew ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the rest of the fam was also getting acquainted with the delicious festival food
weirdly Connan and Jax were also getting a little too close for comfort
so guys this is a curve ball I was NOT expecting, they both were like crazy attracted to each other and soon became best buds
they were basically spending all their time together which meant that I was constantly watching them around the house, making sure there was no cheating going on GAWD
other than that, the household was falling into a nice happy rhythm. Cas persuaded anyone he could to play chess with him
Blythe was still dabbling in Trendi sales here and there
the new wedded couple spent most of their time enjoying one another or skilling
and when Jax wasn't at work or taking care of Clarke, he was busy skilling up his cooking
meanwhile, Bryn seemed to be the only one still miserable and not happy at all for her sister
fear not, she did take most of her anger out on our poor maid
lowkey the menacing floating piles of garbage weeeere pretty funny alright, we have to give it to her there bahahhahahhaahah
much to my delight, Casper actually found all of Bryn's hauntings hilarious
now I tried distracting Bryn with spooky ghostly activities like visiting the family graveyard and exploring this crypt
even helping her fave nephew with school projects, the little nerd hahha
but I couldn't keep them apart all the time and Bryn was harassing Blythe so much, their relationship started to go into the negatives :(
it was really sad to watch as they'd always been best friends their whole lives
I figured she could use some more Afterlives Anonymous meetings to get her straightened out
and we ran across this weirdo ghost showering naked in the rain on the way there......ermmmmmm anyways !
I'm not sure how much the meetings really helped her but at least she got to hang out with Ester again
their friendship was totally on the up-and-up, they even became partners in crime
on the way home, Bryn passed a rather mysterious tree glowing in the dark and she realized there was a form sitting nearby
she came closer to investigate and ended up introducing herself to the ghostly figure who claimed to be called the Weeping Mother
quite suddenly, Bryn felt the need to confess her own sadness about her life, laying out all of her burdens for the Weeping Mother to see. All her pains and sadness about her untimely death and having to watch the rest of her family go on in their lives, which she'd never get the chance to do. And the Weeping Mother comforted her
it was the strangest experience of her undead life but as Bryn ran home she actually felt a bit better in a way she hadn't since before she died
that evening, we also had to say goodbye to the Snows as they moved out together byeeeeee. I'll miss them a lot but it really felt like time and mccc will take great care of them I'm sure
The household needed some more space plus I lowkey couldn't watch the twins relationship deplete anymore AND I was tired of supervising Connan and Jax *eyeroll*
also we really didn't have enough bedrooms becaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaause as of this moment, the Alphabets have moved to a new house in Ravenwood *spooky music*
This place is a shell that I downloaded off the gallery and then customized and I am so pumped at how it turned out !!!!! soooo prepare for a neat montage showing off most of the rooms starting wiiiiith the backyard

aaaaaand my absolute favorite part of all is this family portrait frame which came with Growing Together (???? I think ???) not sure but it is SO NEAT !! I'm gonna have to start including pics as it updates
the household was settling nicely into their new digs over the next couple days
Bryn's fav spot certainly hadn't changed with the move hahahha
naturally we had to make sure that Casper's trusty telescope had made the jump as well
Bryn was also out and about getting to know the neighborhood and all their ghostly neighbors
right off the bat she came across this haunted tower with these ADORABLE little plushie ghosts
oh and a raging werewolf...I'm sure that won't disturb our equally scary ghost gal--
oh nope. yea, she's cowering all the way across the square ok valid. go off queen lmaoooo
moving on ! next, she met the acquaintance of this spooky raven who she got along with shockingly well
ok the evil laugh is making this look a lot less wholesome Bryn
oh and how could she pass up a chance to scare this ghost lady hanging out with a GHOST COWPLANT AHHHHHHHHHH
I think the lady actually also kinda liked it because afterwards she tossed Byrn this like ghost cult symbol ?? I think the moral of the story here is that Bryn is gonna fit in much better in Ravenwood
she headed home pretty quick after that because it was time for Clarke's bday and age up into a toddler yahooooo
with all the family gathered...well most of them at least *sigh*
anyways, Jax helped Clarke blow out his candles
aww why do I feel like Clarke is gonna be Jaxton's twin loll
and here he is as a little tot since I apparently missed all the sparkles this time. He also got the wild trait fyi
of course Jaxton was the ever-involved parent as we've always known him to be and he spent basically all his time taking care of Clarke
I think the only other sim who was more excited than Jax to have another bigger, little one around was Bryn
she didn't even balk at potty training LOL
later that afternoon, the Thinned Festiveil was happening over on the other side of the neighborhood so I sent most of the household to go check it out
Casper got some great death-themed presents which were totally appropriate for a child I'm sure
meanwhile Bryn was getting a completely glitched-out tarot reading LOL. We'll never know exactly what card she got from the invisible deck so hopefully it wasn't a bad omen
but while everyone else was out, Jax was back at home making sure the present pile was perfect for winteeeerrrrfesssssttttttttt wahoooooooo
it wasn't exactly snowy in Ravenwood but we'll make do with the holiday spirit I suppose
but before they could get their grubby paws on the presents, the whole fam sat down for a holiday meal prepared by Jax
and as expected, Briar was a huge biatch about her presents
ok ok I might be laughing just a smidge *snickers*
she really is just such a diva, I love her
everyone else was a little more grateful for theirs
I should probably be more grateful the kids weren't taking after Briar but I love my dramatic simmies !
oh but the festivities don't end there!! no it was also Jaxton's bday into adulthood

and here he is as an adult. not much changed except for more bills. Same, buddy, same
and we're not stopping there! because the next morning it was time for Casper's bday wahoo

ooooooooooh, oh yes I'm very pleased with how these genes are going, still can't seem to get rid of Marcus' nose but at least it fits Casper's face a little better
oh and he gained the macabre trait and the ghost knowledge aspiration
